I've been driving for these guys a little over two months now, nine paychecks worth of time, so I thought I'd post another update. I could just tell you how much I love it here, but we all know the numbers are what's important.

I'm averaging $1622 per week on 2010 miles which comes out to just over .80 CPM. When I look at just my daily average for days I'm available to work, I'm averaging $278 per day. To this very day, which is 2 months and 10 days from the day I started, I've earned over 16k.

What I've found is that when I'm available all seven days in a week, and there's decent freight to be had on the weekend, I usually hit 2k.

Now your results may vary. I run 7 days a week except for a few weekends I had to take off, and I try to get the freight to the consignees as quickly as I possibly can. Yours might be different based on your availability and how you work.

I've obviously really been enjoying it here and Joe, Jennie and Kelley have been excellent to work with. As a driver who's been to a couple different companies before this one, I can say that they definitely have my recommendation.

Would you hire someone fresh out of school? I'm trying to line something up for when I graduate in 1 week.

The insurance company requires 2 yrs experience. I'd try a Local ltl carrier or ask your school who hires new student drivers in your area.

Trying to avoid getting stuck with a mega carrier. I'll keep looking though.

I’m looking for a company to drive for. I have 11 months experience. Only had to stop because of a family Emergency. I was with Prime Inc but I ran my ### off. I was all about that money. I’m looking to start January or February though.

Hey Cdavie, unfortunately they're not flexible on the two years experience required due to insurance reasons. If I were you, I'd go back to Prime to get the experience. That's where I got my experience at. You could do a whole lot worse as far as starter companies go.

Wasn’t sure. Doesn’t hurt to ask but thanks and I won’t go back to Prime. I have other companies I can go to for experience which is what I’ll probably do. Most of the great companies want 2 years or more experience which I get 100%

    Flatbedotr Thanks this.
