Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, third time is enemy action and someone is going to get killed. Mark my words.drvrtech77 and mjd4277 Thank this. -
So are these drivers knowingly hauling over height loads and not getting permits? Or are they not measuring the load height and just running it as if it was legal dimensions?
Seems like the shipper ought to know what deck height they need to load a spool and refuse trucks that don’t meet those specifications. The driver is obviously 100% responsible, but if it was my product I’d want to make sure it was on a truck capable of hauling it safely.Bud A. Thanks this. -
If ever there was a time for this... It is now...

I do not expect younger drivers being horsewhipped into getting rolling NOW by dispatch in incessant are you rolling yet messaging and phone calls.
I don't expect very many to deal with a suspected overheight with a proper measure ment up to 13.6
Houston Bridges are generally 14 to 15 feet.
Sometimes I feel shame that I am associating with a industry that displays a range of "Ignorance" all over. It's almost there is a form of cancer eliminating common sense, professionalism and so forth where it's actually ok to not give a #### and dump coils onto highways. Oh whoops it fall off. So sad.
