Obviously it's not me, but I lived in reserved parking whenever I had to go into Mass, Conn, or anywhere in that area. Some of the best money I ever spent on the road. Knowing I had a place to land no matter what time I rolled in was worth it.

Wow lucky you! I’ve never had the pleasure, while at millis or here at Landstar lol. Knock on wood!

Well crap. I was going to try to make it that far and ended up stopping at the last service plaza before you get to Charleston. God this place sucks and is full before 5.

Also... spend all the money you want here! This state is so poor. We welcome any income that comes into the state.
I'm pretty sure the only state that's poorer is Mississippi and that's probably debatable. -
I was wondering about that as well.

Depends on context. The hillbillies I know land kind of am myself are about 50% redneck, 50% hippie. Heck our high school sports teams are the Hillbillies so I'm one with a capital H. Don't really like that so many people think the term is another word for good old-fashioned white trash and that sounds like an accurate description of this guy. I can hear your real estate values going down already just from him being there.

No but I need it after that
It was Federal about 40 miles north of Houston
Was a toxic soup for sureSuspect Zero Thanks this. -
After a few days of reflection my day wasn’t so bad. My post was made after being up for 20 hrs. Made a big goof up early in that day and dwelled on it causing other smaller goofs. I am either in the drivers seat or sitting next to my trainer all day in the passenger seat.
Been out here going on three weeks now and the amount of new things I learn and experience is just overwhelming at times. I really enjoy driving. Happy I chose Millis and glad they accepted me.
SJ I will be home at Thanksgiving and will be giving you a call. Wanted to wait to ask you questions until I got my feet wet.Last edited: Nov 15, 2018

It really is overwhelming at first but trust me, it gets a lot easier. I feel ya man. Don't dwell on mistakes, do remember and learn from them. The more experience you get behind the wheel past mistakes will pop up in your mind like, going into shipper/receiver that is tight, "whoa, this looks familiar, don't do that". It'll come together. I promise. <thumbup>Steelersjunkie, Suspect Zero, MIT and 1 other person Thank this.

It’s s sort of funny looking back at day one and the first week. It was like I was a pinball with the Bendix system. All day long bouncing down the highway. Ding ding ding to far to the right ding ding ding to far over to the left beep beep to close to car in front. It doesn’t go off nearly as much now a few times a day.
The first time i passed another truck in the middle lane while another truck was passing me in the left lane was terrifying lol.
Went up and down Monteagle no worries but I-81 and 220 for 9 hrs kicked my butt. Up and down and around all day long what a day that was on my third day.
