All too often I hear about ridiculous wait times to get a truck repaired when it is warranty. They seem to intentionally procrastinate when it is a warranty repair, and its 2 weeks to fix what would take 2 days if the owner was paying the bill.

I have an appt with an attorney tomorrow in the afternoon, a call scheduled in the morning with another attorney, and possibly another in the late evening.

This is a brand new Mack Anthem 64T fully loaded tractor.
I can’t stand by and let this totally ruin our lives, and our investment. The bent frame is not acceptable, especially later on down the road if we wanted to sell it. Who would want it?

Why should I be forced to accept it? I just want an acceptable truck to make a living in. Either we get our downpayment back, or we get a new equal replacement. Their choice. But no less. And no, I don’t want a rental.

Anthem. BRand new. 64T fully loaded.

154K plus mounting losses. And missed revenue.

I think I myself would be pretty angry about now. Halidol and versed time for me.

Yep, that is my point. Now they are wanting to take it to a frame shop down the road to have it ‘straightened’? No way. How is that acceptable?? Sheer panic.

bzinger, TankerYankr and x1Heavy Thank this.

Rest easy forget the whole rig. They can play at frame shop all they want. You are fixing to weight all of them on the scales of Justice herself.

Let them straighten the frame, if the shop knows what they are doing it will be just fine. I doubt you’re going to get a new (different) truck out of this, so you better just get that out of your head.

I'll respectfully dig in and stick to my guns. If that brand new shiny Mack Tonka Truck is all bent from the factory that is a problem.

I don't think she is gunning for a new different truck. She wants her money, her losses in revenue then add in lawyer fees that will explode in some short time at the Court house. Everyone that mattered to this point had brushed her off.

    Forget that truck.

Kinda hard to brush off a summons to ye old courthouse.

I would recommend changing the title of this thread to: Brand new Mack Anthem 64T constant breakdowns

Just wait until google picks up these latest posts and corporate sees it. They will be contacting you with quickness to address your problem. I’ve saw it here before. Just a few weeks ago actually with another guy/gal having problems. It’s your only way to be treated as a 400 truck buyer.
