That sounds like a name I've heard thrown around the shop before. Guy driving the 389 glider has a nice quiet one, Sarcon or something? Barely hear it over the truck engine fan.

Owner is throwing around the idea of putting a blower on another current truck (since we landed the new contracts, we don't have any more backup trucks with blowers), likely something with a C15 and a highway setup. I'm hoping it's for me.

Made Estevan for the night. Bit of a long day (even if the nanny doesn't think so, I was up at 7 this morning). Got just over two hours to Belle Plaine for the pickup and then hopefully most of the way up to Thompson.

Will be the furthest north I've ever driven, but not been. Once went with my dad on a job inspection in York Landing, MB. Fly in site. That was a long time ago though. I might have been 14?

 

... gonna try and hand it off to the locals at our Pomona yard...

Makes more sense to me to split it onto two trucks and have them deliver it all Monday...

If they have me do 11 stops Monday I won’t be done till Wednesday...

 

Anybody else feel that kinda rang hollow ? Just kinda had a dull thud to it instead of a clarity to the sound ? I ain't sure if he truly meant that. He wouldn't be pulling our legs would he ? ...... Surely not in this Deadly Serious Thread, eh ?

 

I know this probably won't help but I have a 1 stop that goes 3 miles, I started at noon today and won't finish till 11 tomorrow. 23 hours to go 3 miles so if I were doing your 11 stop that would be 2 1/2 weeks for me to accomplish.

 

Wife's mama's birthday was today....we lost her in 94'. So....instead of sleeping I'm staying up with her....still have to get up and load in the morning.

She has the day off tomorrow.... Gonna watch the granddaughters.....Probably be some flowers layed.....

 

The average human WALKS at around 3 mph...... just throwing that out there.
