How to find work as an Owner Operator?

You probably won't get much help here. You are now "competition" to every OO on their own authority. They won't be too quick to tell you their secrets. So don't expect much.

Seriously asking. It's before my time but I heard getting your own authority was hard. You had to be approved by other carriers, get a lawyer and all that good stuff. You had to tell them the exact route you were hauling as,well I heard.

 

You are dealing with a period of regulation prior to the demise of ICC and Deregulation.

 

J. B. Hunt is always looking for power only operators. Should be pretty good for the next month or two.
