I usually blame a thief when I lose stuff too.

Sorry, been working and just seeing the @MagnumaMoose summons.

I scrolled thru the following several posts and seen you checked the usual stuff. I never had a fuel/no start problem. Mine is an antique April '06 unit with 20+k hours on it. It would randomly stall and I chased that sucker for about a year on an off. Turned out to be a cold solder joint on the microprocessor board that would randomly cut power to the run relay.

Along the way, one of the guesses was a new lift pump. Instead of getting the gold plated chinese one from TK, I got this one from Summit. I guess I could re-use it if I needed to field a Pro Stock dragster? Dunno, but it keeps the prime up on the little Tripac and about 1/10th the price of the genuine part.

I've also heard scare stories about the plastic fuel lines on the newer ones cracking. I'd guess you'd have seen that by now. I've had two with the plastic lines and not seen that happen. Yet.

When I do a PM on mine, I fill the big water separator filter with diesel before installing and put the in-line filter in dry. When I start it the first time, it takes two tries to fire up. First time I keep my finger on the button while it's cranking so I can shut it off before it trips the breaker. Second time is the charm.

Not relevant but where else am I gonna brag? Latest project was a new case. Mine had cancer already when I bought the truck 5 yrs ago. I bought an aftermarket bottom case assembly that got me by for a couple years. When the pre-cooler was finally hanging by the hoses, I had to do something more drastic. I found a guy in Miami selling aluminum cases on eBay. Sweet deal and is really what Thermo King should have done to begin with.

I can neither confirm nor deny that, but I know the answer.
