When I went to get that load to Wilmington they said it was cancelled.
1111 loaded miles and 102 empty. Would have gone on this week's pay.
Load I got now picked up in Lewiston and goes to Lancaster ca for a 0630 delivery on the 15th. 1022 loaded miles and will go on the following week pay.
Doing my 10 hr break at a gem stop truck plaza on us 95 in marking.
Gonna be e an easy 2 days of drivi.g on this load.

I delivered a load near L.A. this afternoon and then headed to my next pick up.
I had 3.5 hours left on my 14, 22 miles to the shipper for a preloaded trailer, and then head to Sparks, NV.

By the time I got to the shipper I had 1.5 hours left on my 14. By the time I got out of the shipper I had 29 minutes left.
I didn't get parked until about 15 minutes after my 14 expired. Oh well.
The first place I could pull over was along I-5 on the truck bypass, along with another dozen or more trucks.

The shipper was the Walmart Import DC place in South Gate.
I didn't know that the odd numbered spaces were behind the even numbered spaces until I started hunting around for my number and finally asked a yard jockey. He said to park in front of the even number and someone would be around to pull it out so I could get to my trailer behind it.
That was real fun backing in between two closely parked trailers and trying to line up with mine, which was parked at a slight angle. I only had a couple inches clearance on either side for the mirrors.
At least the yard jockeys are helpful, once you can grab one. Busy place.

Been there a bunch of times when I did the walmart blitz. Glad I didn't have to back the empty trailer in those spots.

Yup. The saving grace of that place is how they handle the empty trailers. Couldn't be any easier.

People in Phoenix can not read.

I was just put on safety hold because I am on a temp CDL. (I changed my address.)
The thing is, it is a 120 day license, not a 60 day. MN is really backed up with CDL so it was extended.
I had to send a photo to my DM to get it cleared up, and hopefully it will be by tomorrow.
They see a temp come through and just assume it is 60 days, without actually reading it.

And, I can not seem to keep my new DM at IGH as my assigned DM.
The system (or someone) changes it to a DM in Phoenix (intermodal, of all things) whenever the people in IGH try to reassign me.
Very irritating when I call my terminal and get another DM. They want to know why I am calling them and not my own terminal. I've lost count of the times I have explained that Jackie is my DM and I am at IGH now. And I never have even heard of the DM that I am supposedly assigned to.
It has been changed back a few times, once from the FM, but it doesn't seem to stick.

Since I transferred to IGH I no longer get pplan texts on my phone, and I am no longer auto-dispatched when completing a load.
This didn't happen when they transferred me from Fontana to Otay Mesa way back when, so what has changed to screw things up so much?
