What are these u-joints and slip yokes y'all speak of?? I don't think my truck has them....
least I've never seen 'em

Swinging jib in DC and Baltimore is a dangerous sport also!! Seems wherever these people think they need to be is way more important than our road closures!!

Well
Just remember when it gets tough — if it was gonna be easy everyone would be doing it. It’s not easy. That’s why it pays what it does.
Al. Roper, Slowpoke KW, 1951 ford and 18 others Thank this. -
No, no, I'm talking hauling chem or gas gas, not fuel gas. Pulling either a shiny or colour-matched tank and a stretched out Pete. Picking up at a facility, driving down the road, and unloading at a facility.

Doubtful. That #### sucker is gonna be running this state deeper into the red. “Just out of state trucks” yeah, then we all get ####ed. Honestly if the toll was just for trucks it’d be beneficial to me, albeit pointless for our transportation fund. The state consistently raids that for pet projects, no matter what funds it.
Very frustrating to be fiscally conservative in a state run by pols who cowtow to those who vote for a living.
I’m not anti “help people” but a lot of the people on the programs for help don’t need help, they need a kick in the pants. And we have beaucoup special programs for dumb ####.
Last year they shut down all the rest areas from 3pm-7am m-f and weekends. “It cOsTs our state $550k a year to have them open all night!”
But they spend over $600k a year ADVERTISING that our state has commuter rail. Not running the commuter rail- just advertising that we have it.
Welcome to 2018: we still have the trains we been running for 40 ####in years. What person in this state don’t know about trains???Al. Roper, RedForeman, Slowpoke KW and 25 others Thank this. -
This was hydraulic luffer on a 350 Grove, it was erected but the can-bus sensor on the boom head went bad. I’ve swung jib in allies and tight places though.

Since my needle just buries itself once it gets above 80, not sure just what my mph was, but 85-90 would be about right. She's no large car for certain.

When I was hauling fuel and the load assignment was to a bulk plant or some trucking outfit that had their own tank I was always happy to see that. The exceptions being a quarry or a mine.
If I were to go back to a tank, it would probably be propane.
