Wow! I WISH my only expense was fuel. Maybe then, I could listen to that argument. As far as bashing Cars Arrive Network, I dont think its bashing when its the truth. $300 per unit from CA to TX is ridiculous and you now it. Its cheap and everyone knows it. But, you keep drinking that cool aid

I agree with Mr and Mrs Pete that is a insult even if they give you a nice discount on fuel

Brokers should go. Someone soon gotta make UBER like app the dealers should post loads directly there instead of hiring large brokers.

I will never understand why brokers are blamed for the pricing. If they are charging $500/unit and paying $300/unit, sure, that's a dick broker.

I know brokers who bust their ### for their carriers.

And if you think the rates are DETERMINED by the brokers you have no comprehension of economics. Brokers RESPOND to a market, not set them.

I move freight for cars arrive. As well as ready. Neither own trucks. Neither sets the rates. The truck owners set the rates.

The brokers auctions and major carriers dictate pricing, or should i say downward pressure on pricing. There is no convincing me that broker 40% carrier 60% is somehow reasonable. When most carrier has a fixed cost over $1.60 a mile. The other day i saw 7 units 800 miles for $1000. I guess when 35% of carriers go belly up it will be our turn to screw them. This driver/truck shortage b.s. for the last 25 years . Just keep the suckers li ned up . To keep freight cost low and driver earnings low. I guarantee when rates are low the carriers are sucking up the shortfall. All the big carriers that sub work out probably make more profit than haling themselves.

I don’t think a 40/60 split is fair either. All I am saying is I set my rates. I either get what I want or I don’t move the freight. Honestly I don’t care what the other guy makes.
