Welcome! You've definitely made a good choice. As far as training just listen to what Jamie tells you in school and you'll be fine. I'm a trainer and all my students have came from Jamie, and they are all very prepared the 1st day they get on my truck.Steelersjunkie, Farmer54 and Suspect Zero Thank this.

When I go home it’s odd sleeping in the bed
Sometimes I’ll play a 10 hour track of a Kenworth idling. Puts me right out!
If only you can copy the small shakingSuspect Zero Thanks this. -
If I don’t get back here Happy Thanksgiving to all and safe travels if your staying out.
I’m going home for a few 3 days or so.Suspect Zero and MIT Thank this. -
I painted for a good 25 years then hopped into another career 8 years ago. Just getting into driving now. Great thing about Richfield is they try to get you your CDL before leaving school which I liked. Been out with trainer now for 3 weeks going on 4 weeks.
Best advice I can give you is always stay positive. Whether in class or out here with your trainer. Stuff is always going to happen learn from it and if you can laugh it off.
Good luck. -
Thank you, will do.
Do they train and test in manual trucks? -
Wow that's awesome.
Best of luck to you.

Stuff sure does happen. I'm at the p!ssed off stage right now but it has a silver lining.
Good thing is I'm off the Best Buy run. Bad thing is B service in Cville. Deadline Miss Emily because of a major oil leak on front of engine cover. My two favorite mechanics here in Cville told me nope, we gotta fix this. KW has been called in. I trust Virgil and Tony.
Tony told me it will be sometime next week as the whole front including motor mounts have to come off. Wahhhhh, I don't want another truck. My middle sister, not the one in Perry Ga, is coming to get me to spend Tgiving with them in Blue Ridge GA. She's well off, I'll want for nothing. Lol,,,,,
Then comes the decision on Monday, get into a loaner truck or wait on Miss Emily. I love 8063,,,, she's my home.
What say y'all?MIT Thanks this. -
Depends on how long they say and long you can/want to be off, but personally I would wait rather than drag my crap into a loaner, provided I could afford to
As for changing to a new truck? Hell.man, you were in BRF and got yours the same day Opie wanted to give me a brand new one, I'm sure you remember how much I hemmed and hawwed until he finally forced it on another and handed me down their 2015 to replace my 10 speed.
I HATE changing trucksFarmer54 Thanks this. -
I waited a bit more than a week once for my truck to get out of the KW dealer so I could keep it and not move all of my stuff. It was at a dealer near my house so I was home which made it an easier decision.Farmer54 and Suspect Zero Thank this.
