Gauges went crazy, radio shut down with all gauges. They diagnose it, it is the alternator, about $470 lights were really dim this morning @5 then the volt meter slowly started to drop.

If I were single right now, you wouldn't have to tell me twice, I'd give 'er for a couple years then come back, buy my own truck and go back to the relaxed life of the paved roads.

Ok good deal. I know sometimes you are at the shops mercy. Sounds like your voltage regulator went out. If you are owner op, if they don't need a core, you can rebuild it yourself fairly cheap with a kit and keep it as a spare. Just a thought.

Went from having nothing to do this week to being booked up in about fifteen minutes this morning. Today's project: reels of pipe from the main ranch out to the west desert.

I wouldn’t mind hauling sticks and bricks part time as a retirement supplement.

    Well...

Not gonna get reloaded. Been sitting here for one hour and still got ten trucks ahead of me.

Guess I’ll pull a @PoleCrusher and hurry up and wait...

    Gotta love Laredo forwarding yards............

    ####ing flatbedders.

I pull into my parking hideaway last night & notice there's a load of pipe already there, parked over by the fence, so I pull in behind him and go to sleep. 8 hours later I'm ready to go and two of his buddies have me boxed in. I'm really grateful to the Swift driving academy for teaching me how to back for 75 feet in a straight line.

Maybe they're just showing me a little humorous disrespect because I'm a door slammer this week? IMG_20181119_0711199_rewind.jpg

A fella from church cut down a lot of trees on his property and rough cut a bunch of boards a while back. I’ll be taking them to the sawmill to be made into flooring for his house. I called the owner of the sawmill this morning to make sure it’s TT friendly as it looks a bit tight on google.
Ended up talking on the phone a hour n a half all in. Man. What a guy. I can’t wait to meet him. His boys run it now and he told me they are the fifth generation of his family to run the mill.
