Ok. I had seen before you knew who somebody was from the description of the truck, just thought maybe by chance you might have known who it was.

    It’s on a 48’ flat currently.

Shipper doesn’t want to hang ANY of the load off the front or the rear of my step. Won’t fit.

Also I’d have issues with strapping as I can’t throw straps where I’d need too... and I’m short one portable since I’d need it to strap my tarps and spare tire to the catwalk....

    JOYOUS DAY I TELL YA.

I’m going to Encinal. Don’t feel like screwing around in Laredo tonight.

I would put 2*4's inside of the metal bands and strap away.

Well I can not recall having such a good Monday in history. Now Legal Beagle trucking would write me up but. Delivered my chain conveyor early and that kid had me empty quick. 30 minutes tarp pulled and out the drive. Went and hung out for a hour, walked and got coffee. Was about to head for the house for the week and phone rings. Expedite load of brass rods 51 miles away from me. In and out in 1 hours. Plus the cutest crane operator I've ever seen. She jumped in and started to take tail boards out while I pulled bows. Never looked at a dock workers rear like that before. Bebop to delivery all two lane sneaking. Guy comes out and said. "Its close to shift change, get in door 1 and we will get this done". 45 minutes in out the door. What a good day. Now if I could do this everyday I'd only work 3 or so days a week. And most of it was wasn't legal.

I think it might be the regional driver that runs the ROPS between there and somewhere in Nebraska. @kylefitzy might know who it is.

I know there’s work arounds with the straps. I could use 4x4s and cut down on the quantity I’d need.

However the load won’t fit legally on the deck in the shippers mind so I was turned away regardless.

Have some of those Texas tacos from the road runner for me.

Picked up beams out of there Friday afternoon, waiting on a reload in Council Bluffs right now.

I wish more truck stop chains had real food in them. I'm about tired of Chester's and Subway and Hardees.
