Where is everyone #5

Remember last week I was given the explanation on why loads are run in a certain order because of super complex machine availability. Plus it takes a whopping 15 minutes to switch them over. Well, shipper calls me yesterday afternoon about today’s load.

He says hey, your second stop needs to be there by 9 am. They’ve got to have it. It will be ready early tonight. So, wait, turns out we can get loads ready out of order? It’s a Thanksgiving miracle!

 

Isn’t there one right in Huntington west of the steel mill?

I guess it's still there, ain't been that way for a spell. The main place on route 2 looks like a Hillbilly fleamaket, old buses to eat in and vintage stuff from cars to boats to tractors to just anything lol.

 

Yeah I’ve been by it before just never stopped.

 

I always heard it was a VW rabbit diesel motor?

 

First one I ever seen was an owner operator in Albuquerque with a big house condo and a kick-start motorcycle engine mounted on the frame rails.

 

Hmmm I would probably sleep like a baby with a Harley V-twin idling behind bunk. My kinda music. Someday I will build my golf cart with a Harley just because. I hate golf but it would be fun to PO all the guys in funny socks!

I think the actual APU was a Volkswagen, this was a home made job from a car. Sorry I should have explained a little better lol.
