Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

not sure about companies there but I would question WHY relocate to Southern Cal. in the first place....especialy since the state is broke..and its the biggest hate truck state there is...just my thoughts.
-
I am trying to figure out where I am going to go I want out of here so bad I am thinking Nevada or Idaho. Oregon has gotten just as bad as far as hate trucks!
-
well let me recommend the mid west or south east for you...I know oklahoma is a great state for drivers and down here in georgia we are doing ok too...I would stay out of florida though

My g/f is getting transferred to LA,so relocating is not really my choice.Would like to stay in trucking, but who knows.

Thanks for the advice at one time we had thought about Texas but I would lean more towards Oklahoma or maybe Georgia had never given Georgia much thought. I know my wife would like to go to Texas she has made mention of that many times. I have a summer Job possibly Lined up in alaska like from April-Sept friend of a friend deal so I am gonna sit a tight here for the moment.

Cali is dead & is going to stay that way for awhile. If you don't mind running OTR then you might find something, but don't even bother looking for full time local work.
