Wider track pads, wider gauge, and sometimes longer track frame. It makes quite a difference.

It certainly is, but it doesn’t seem like money wasted.

Shamelessly copying @Tug Toy s photographic style. And yes, I climbed the load (actually an empty trailer but to the rest of the world it looks like it's loaded), I didn't take the easy way and use my drone..

Good morning, from hopefully my last day in Savannah. Have 2 local moves today then up to Boeing in Charleston to grab some empty tooling to Wichita, KS then bounce to Dallas for a wing to Toronto on Monday. Of course that was the latest plan yesterday just as I loaded my load to Tulsa, which obviously I'm now not taking. We'll see how many times the plan changes before I finish here in Savannah this evening.

I've got the most stops today but my load is last. Hey, morons are gonna moron. Sitting there and look down at a printed email which says my 4th stop, a drop and hook, is closed today.

Point it out to shipper, um someone should be there he says. He knows about it five or six hours ahead of time so if my empty is locked in the fence, I am bobtailing back. Piss poor planning on your part doesn't constitute an emergency on mine.

Speaking of track gauge.... my uncle has an old Cletrac with a small blade on it. If my memory is correct it is only like 42".

Simetimes I think a few drivers with a GPS is like a bull with a ring in its nose. Don't take much to lead it anywhere......;)
