Hopefully they get out of it without too much added hassle from the cops. One of those times you wish you had a couple dozen spare donuts in the truck though.
Anybody we know?

I'm not going to be too hard on him, it doesn't look like he's bent any metal or hurt anybody.
I've never done anything that bad, but have you ever took a chance on a maneuver where if you make it you will look like king of the road, but if you don't, it will end badly?
I drug quite a bit over railroads and humps in the road. You hit it easy, you'll never make it. You hit it hard, you may make it, but if you don't, you're going to look like a ##*, and have a big wrecker bill.shakerclassic, stwik, whoopNride and 7 others Thank this. -
Um, aren't these things supposed to be routed? Pretty far into the curb, what, did they think they could drive through this?
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Routing sometimes takes you places it shouldn’t.shakerclassic, OLDSKOOLERnWV, catalinaflyer and 16 others Thank this.

I don’t heavy haul, but with a low clearance trailer and a raised center median there is no way I am going across it. I’m cutting thru going the wrong way and letting only the right side raise up a few inches. Traffic will catch on to what I’m doing when I start that way, or they will back up.
shakerclassic, stwik, 4mer trucker and 6 others Thank this. -
If you are going to cross it may i suggest that you be doing about 130 kms/hr and loud pedal to the floor when doing so. Likely slide right over then.

Hahaha how true!
Pulled one through Arkansas once, was literally begging my escort to go another route. Nope!!! Going to follow it to a T. Guy was also my super on that job.
Problem was, I had been there twice already that week hauling parts for the drill rig. I cleaned no less than 20 construction barrels out of the road that day. Single lane, I was 16 wide.shakerclassic, Oxbow, Ruthless and 1 other person Thank this.
