My 91 had just under a million on it when I bought it. A chicken hauler outta Muscle Shoals Alabama bought it new, up in age so he didn't have to keep the road hot. Got sick a few years later and the old truck was sorta forgot about. Some how Shannon knew about it, his nephew bought it and brought it to Batesville to haul sand. Every piece of interior was out of it when they got it home. I converted it to manual for the kid and helped him put the wet kit on. While he was saving for new tires, due to severe dry rot Shannon was hit by a drunk driver and killed. That sorta took the wind out of all our sails on the sand hauling. So it sat for 3 more years in the back of a shop forgot about. Interior was back in it and clean as a pin. I knew it was the truck I wanted but was duty bound to look at some other junk to say it mildly.

My point to all that rambling is they do exist, can be got right but it takes the planets aligning to do it. I ain't got a clue who the ol chicken hauler was but you could tell he showed the truck lots of love.

I enjoy Joe Satriani's guitar skills on this version.

Roper on the phone when I say uh I gots call you back I got a pair of texas troopers on my tail. They however took pity on me an turned me loose

Talkin bout pretty woman and all these older videos and what not, I remember being a 80s kid and hearing Eddie Money. I'll kick this on for some road music. In my opinion, the chick in the video is one fine mamacita.....
