    I’ve been in this game for 2 decades and I picked Crete back in August. I’m still here and I don’t come cheap. When I say cheap, I won’t do OTR for less than 1400.00 a week. Everyone in my orientation class quit.
    IF you want the pros/cons on them I’ll tell you like it is. Just a driver like you. Good, bad and ugly.
    I will also upon request show you ALL paychecks since August.

    They do pay good. And they definitely have their #### together when it comes to planning a truck.

    Downside, terminals are separate beast. IE, each is run differently. Other thing, broken promises about hometime. But hey, you’re making money.

    I doubt he’s OTR. More likely regional.

    Even at .52 a mile. You’re hard pressed to make more than that after taxes, in a 63mph truck.

    Hell im happy if I bring home $800 a week. But that’s just me, I’m lazy as hell.

    I had to listen to 4 would be recruiters for over an hour last night. Told one of them if he would actually drive instead of sitting on his ###. He’d make good money and wouldn’t need to recruit.

    By the look, you would have thought I handed him a turd. No honor here any more. Just get those recruits in. Which actually means, a reference from you isn’t worth listening to. But you get paid for it all the same.

    You guys are something. I’m OTR and I’m at .51.
    Yes I run! I’m not selling anything. Crete is not for everybody but for me it works. I’ll be in Daytona Beach in 6 hrs for a nice 34. You guys stay warm:))

    Meet me in Seattle on the 4th. Then I’ll believe you’re OTR. They flat told me 2 months in, I would never go further west than Nebraska. F that. The world is too big to play with small minds.

    But it’s all good now. I go where I please. :) Pretty much when I please. No dispatcher ;)

    I was in Seattle last week.
    Also Portland.
    Last few runs: PA to AZ, AZ to WA, WA to NE, NE to FL.
    I don’t mess around with them. They know I will quit BUT respect goes both ways. I get things done.
