Trip home from mother in laws didn’t go to well. 1 dead deer and 1 smashed pickup. The up side is that nobody got hurt. Pickup can be fixed. Daughter was driving and got pretty shook up.
IH Truck Guy, Al. Roper, 7-UP and 27 others Thank this. -

It's bad enough when you have something like that happen to you but when it's one of your kids I'm sure it's really scary, I'm not looking forward to the day my son starts driving.
Glad everyone is ok. -
My daughter is three years from her permit, I’m not ready.

The sickest feeling you’re every going to get, is from that daughter if you’re on the road and she’s in a bad accident.
Mine slid off the road into a tree during an ice storm. Severe spinal injury. I was 200 miles away, listening to her cry because no one would stop and help her. She was trapped inside the car, in full view of the highway.
I did manage to calm her down enough, and get her to dial 911. Hard lesson for her. Daddy is not 911 when it comes to real emergencies.
