From reading the DOT rules it says i can log it off duty when using the CMV for personal reasons. Since when i move the vehicle it automaticall goes on line 3, how do I log it as off duty? I want to bobtail to a laundromat nearby

Well i work for Schneider and my driver business leader said i can move about 10 miles but i couldnt find any kind of policy from schneider

IF PC is enabled on your elog system, the line will show up as an option. If you can't see it as an option, then it's not enabled.

There are some carriers that DO NOT want their trucks to be used this way. The FMCSA allows PC, but that does not mean a carrier MUST allow it. Keep that in mind.

At Shaffer/Crete we can select off duty (PC) on our peoplenet our elogs device and go 60 miles and I think a hour. I had a Qualcomm with that setting but couldn't select it
