Look....
I'm not against people who want to immigrate legally and start up a business...that's the "American Way", no matter who you are.
But everyone knows that those who operate in the shadows do so for either "Under the table", or are out to under-cut the market.
You don't see Canadians coming down here willing to run a load from L.A. to Chicago for $1K do you???? That's either stupidity or that's Market manipulation.

They can't build a wall high enough, or long enough for my tastes.
Illegal aliens are one thing, legal NAFTA drivers are another. The cross border program should not have anything to do with your business, but obviously it does. Running dumps around SoCal seems to me to be against the spirit of the trade agreement. -
Wow,....He77 must have froze over,.....Yous finally said something I agree with!!!,....lol

The article fails to mention that the large import-export numbers are comprised of companies shipping raw goods to Mexico to be assembled, or finished, then returned to the US for sale.
The US plants that used to finish these goods are now closed, and the US workers that had those jobs are unemployed, or working a part time job for less money and no benefits.
I live in an area that has 100's of these closed plants, and a very high unemployment rate to show for it.
What jobs Mexico didn't get, China, or some other Asian country, did. -
Like it or not , NAFTA obligates us to allow Mexican trucks in the country .
