I may have currently missed it anyways unfortunately. When the job posting was active couple weeks ago it would only let me fill out the very beginning basic part of the application and then told me no scheduled appointment times available preventing me from filling the rest out. Ive tried over the last couple weeks logging in to finish it and still blocked me from filling it out. Got excited bc i had an email from the ups job site this am telling me to fill out my app. Saw the email this afternoon when i got home from returning from thanksgiving travel, just finished the full app, and no #### scheduled appointments for interviews available......of course lol.

Hopefully it pops back up. I have a good paying gooberment job working on cranes but i hate how we work and wanting to get back to driving. I can deal with rules and ect but when it comes to doing my work i like to do it own my own. At my current job i keep getting pushed to be in charge, which sucks when your responsible to get stuff done with ppl that know there are no consequences whether they work or not and if they even do it half right and give a ####. If not maybe hauling fuel.....shall see.

Keep in mind their are other ways to get in and at least start working on your seniority. They just arent paying as well.
HR mentioned being a package handler and just run feeders for peak and when a bid opens up for a permanent spot your already there with time invested. Made sense when she explained it.

If you got on their to fill out the app its just a matter of time . Mine happened relatively fast. Had the interview lined up soon after, got the approval, ran mvr background, then physical the next week. Every situation is different but its not exactly a sprint race into the seat. Training is about a week and its intense.

    Best of luck

Ah, no problem. I kind of hated trucking in general and just viewed it as something I did well that paid the bills.

I like UPS, and I believe they're a good company to work for. There may be things I disagree with from time to time, and the union may not always be great (Hoffa needs to go), but I still believe this is a company to retire from. This is what trucking can be, when run efficiently.

That is my plan if I make the cut, working around 40 to 50 hours a week as a seasonal now with my $500 weekly bonus, will try to bank some to survive progression if hired and also do the rideshare thing to make ends meet.

Great plan. Definitely set that money aside. Haha January and February get rough.

Absolutely, now just waiting for Monday to start working peak. I hope all turns out well for all the seasonal drivers as e-commerce is changing the world and the baby boomers are retiring. Merry christmas everyone!

Had the same thing happen to me. Just had the ability to fill out the entire app. Then no appointment times.

Have a decent gig in foodservice, but I hear UPS is the place to run for a good long time.
