I can’t part with this radio. The way I have it set up..... I get compliments on how loud and clear it is. I have a DX44 for a back up.shogun Thanks this.

Not sure pics posted . Powered this rig up didnt hear much , lot of static when turning knobs . Got 2 touch lambs in house it turned them both on ,wifey thinks we have ghost now.TX light stays on green till keyed

I do not blame you. I own the original General Lee with the rebel flag, and 10+ khz switch, a Superstar 158EDX, and an older Connex 4800 DXL. He** i still run the old Palomar 250 linear amp i bought back in the early 90's.Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
My dad bought the original Galaxy 2100 and the identical Texas Star version back in the earl 1980’s. I think they were the first Galaxys ever made. Both clear, good ears, a little frequency drift until they warmed up, and you could hear the frequency counter pulsing a little.
They both still work and we will never part with them. I had an original connex echo board put in mine 25 years ago.KB3MMX and Diesel Dave Thank this.
