we've been married for 18 years and I can count the times she's driving while I'm in the passenger seat on one hand.

 

She WANTS to drive... I’m pretty sure she even drove on our first date.

Don’t know why but she has always been the driver. The only exception is road trips. I’m on duty for that apparently.

They don’t teach Paramedics about the cruise control in school.

 

That drives me crazy. You see em on the highway all the time. Brake lights on 60% of the time or more, even while accelerating.

Not sure what ever made anyone think that was a good idea.

 

She has the “awareness” that most professional drivers have... I’ll give her that.

It’s the speed thing... and the get-up-and-go...

Until the government starts paying for my fuel fill ups drive like there’s an egg down under the pedal, hunny.

 

Mine wanted to drive too. I told her no. And she's ok with it. She knows she's helping set the feminist movement back about 70 years. And she's ok with that too.

 

Me too. Just what we had from old house. I will use it till it quits, then buy a gas. Last couple years been replacing units in are two rentals and my now I can buy on for are house. Its like trucking and they come first.

 

Don’t think there’s a feminist reason about why the girly wants to drive...

Want to know who taught me how to drive stick shift? She did.

My dad sold all the cool cars before I was born...

I taught her to ride motorcycles. She taught me the manual transmission in a car...

We’re an odd couple. For sure. We get that a lot...
