My next place is going to be a huge shop with living quarters in the front corner. with a good sized covered porch out front.
With a remote control doors I can drive the whole combo in the back and out the front when I leave.

Funny you say that. Many years ago before Boeing sold the facility in Wichita to Spirit they flew a lot of people back and forth between Wichita and Seattle. The preferred airline route was an America West Airlines (Later US Airways, then AMR and now American Airlines) from Wichita to Salt Lake to Seattle. They flew 737's on this route then one day some brilliant minded bean counter sent one of the new Airbus planes on that route because they were more "fuel efficient". Now more than 25% of the seats on this route were purchased directly by Boeing for moving employees. Needless to say, America West lost that account, United stepped up and switched out a couple of their MD-80/88's (prior to Boeing buying McDonald Douglas and re-branding them the 717) with 727's between Chicago and Wichita then from Chicago all the hub to hub flights were 757/767's.
So the rumor goes that when 40(?) Boeing employees showed up that morning at Mid Continent airport and there was an Airbus at the gate they refused to fly to work and started chanting "If it ain't Boeing, I ain't Going". Don't know how true the last part is but the whole America West - Airbus debacle I can vouch for as I was dating the station manager for America West in Wichita at the time.Crude Truckin', Slowpoke KW, SL3406 and 21 others Thank this. -
