Depends on your company - did they give you a Policy and Procedures manual? If so look it up in the book and it should tell you whether your company allows it or not. If so - it should also tell you how to do it on whatever system your company is using.

If that doesn't work - call your safety department and ask them if it's allowed by your company. If they say NO - then at least you know... and if they say yes ask them how you do it.

If enabled on an Omnitracs (Qualcomm) unit, change your status to OFF DUTY and under SPECIAL CONDITIONS select PERSONAL CONVEYANCE - you must also enter a remark. If PC is not available under the special conditions column, your Safety team has not enabled it.

Someone made a thread about seeing a crazy number of swift trucks bobtailin around town that made me lol.

We are allowed to bobtail around an hour every 24 hours to our hearts content. All the swift haters should take note. Mr. Knight is delivery the goods.

    Lepton1 and Metallica88 Thank this.
