Kansas is similar. You pay annually for your tag, plus property taxes that reduce yearly to a minimum.

    But wait, there's more!!!!

Own a, jet ski, boat, trailer for said boat, engine on that boat, inoperable vehicle, utv, atv, etc.? You also get to pay property taxes on those as well. I was completely baffled the first time we got our itemized boat taxes with a listing for the trailer, 30 horse motor and the boat itself, each with a charge behind it. Kansas' theory is,

"If you're willing to own it, you're willing to pay for it".

This came straight from a friend of mine who work's in the appraiser's office.

I can't believe that I couldn't figure that out last night. I should have known that one. I was obviously in need of sleep. I was just reading up on the Buckeyes kicker from 77 to 81 ( I think ? ) two days ago. His Mom worked with my Mom and my siblings went on a small sailboat trip with his family once. He owns and operates a Deli on Lane Ave. in Upper Arlington called Easy Life Deli now. His family escaped from what was then called Yugoslavia. I was going to ask whether any of y'all who live up that way had ever been there ? Vlade is his first name. His junior year he kicked all the points that the Buckeyes got against ttup and they won. Woody rewarded him with a scholarship for the next year. From what I was told he had been doing all the work with no assistance for the first three years. At least that's what I was told.

Really odd coincidence was that a guy I was working with in the 'patch in Texas was a freshman linebacker on the Clemson team that had been sent in for three plays in the game against the Buckeyes and the NCAA banned him from ever having another scholarship and he never went back to school because of it. Clemson "overlooked" his academic credentials a bit too easy. Dude looked like he was wearing shoulder pads and he wasn't. Nice guy. Small world.
