How often do you run the rack? Doesn’t seem like it’s been very long since you rebuilt it?

When I worked for EZ I witnessed a lot of used trucks being bought over the years.
Notice I said witnessed not went and looked at. That being said.... they couldn't understand why the trucks needed a lot of attention in a short time.
BUT BUT BUT it only has 107,000 miles on it, why are things going wrong they ask?!!! Well.... maybe when you looked at that bucket truck or digger truck you should have paid more attention to the "hour meter" and less attention to the odometer. I always got a dumb look from our self proclaimed "master operator slash truck driver, since it was purchased on his word.
We have to remember all the hours that engine runs with the A/C on or the heater blowing keeping us warm, not just the miles racked up going down the road.
Call me crazy, stupid, or whatever.... lot more to wear and tear than just miles in my opinion.

I idle mind as little as possible but in my line of work some idling is necessary, as well as a lot of PTO time. I do oil changes every 10,000 and grease every week. Fuel filters every couple of weeks if I’m running hard. In fact I just got done changing them right here in the TA parking lot. Lol.
I bought a handy little siphon pump. No more need to carry transmission fluid around.Brettj3876, Oxbow, Hurricane69 and 21 others Thank this.
