TTT Disappointed

Im very sorry to hear that. TTT was our recovery base for loading in Nogales AZ otherwise we ran east as fast as we could go.

I wonder is that stupid parking lot still a moon scape with craters? I suspect it would be more than what the whole property is worth to pave it proper.

 

I remember the Vernon Truck Wash stickers everywhere back then. I also remember 40+ years ago the TTT had a parrot at the fuel desk for whatever reason,and a big sign "Don't Teach The Parrot Cuss Words".

 

I don't run west but I remember stopping there back in like 2002 or 2003 and I thought it was a dump then........

 

I wasn't going to say anything because I thought maybe I didn't remember it correctly but that's what I was thinking when I first read Dave's post. I stopped there a long time ago thinking it looked like one of those cool places like Jubitz or 55 truck stop in Bolingbrook and when I got walking around it was kind of dumpy back 12 years ago.
