    Word up, Prime-Mate. ;)

Good to see you are still doing just fine, from what I can see.

To the others that asked about how many miles your getting. You already know this.....

That's company driver midset. And, very good mindset FOR COMPANY driver, paid by the mile. But, when leasing or owner-op, it's all about revenue, not miles. You want to see the highest revenue for the LEAST amount of miles (& shortest dead time waiting on appointments & in between loads).

Remember, you are responsible for ALL your costs. More miles = more fuel, maintenance, wear & tear, etc..... Sitting means you're still out your daily fixed costs every day, without fail, every day.

Nothing wrong with miles, IF IT'S PAYING. But, definitely do not want to be running miles just for mileage sake, when YOU are footing the bill for all your costs.

Many short high pay runs can be much better (revenue vs. miles/time), than lower rate long runs.

While many hate the NE, sometimes able to work 2/3 very short high paying loads in a single day that will get you close to what you could see in a 1/2 week, or better, running long & cheaper.

When you're footing all the bills, it's all about being aware of your costs, your bottom line & what you have to make. Of course, some will need to make more than others. But..... we all have to at least cover our costs & be as profitable as we can with whatever we are doing. The least to make the most is always the mantra.

As @nofreetime stated, the market has been booming of late...... (since at least last July). It's been easy right now, with many buying in & jumping on the bandwagon while hot.

But, this has always been a cyclical thing, always will be. Rates WILL come down again. (Though, there are a few new dynamics in play now). Then, as always, when the downturn comes the "Great Shakeout" will occur. The smart & strong will survive, a large portion will go insolvent. Happens every time. (Will be a good time to be looking for used trucks & trailers, though, if you have your house in order).

Again, good to see you are still doing well. Especially, with getting the time off you desire. Long as you are covering your costs & are satisfied with what you are pulling down beyond that..... That's what it's all about. Know your business & know your needs. ;)

Did you make that print out yourself or is there somewhere in the app you can get a break down of this?

Numbers look pretty simular to mine.

Biggest problem with lots of short loads with reefer loads is a lot more chance you will get stuck on a load for some reason with some problem and the load unload times are always long. While Ive gotten the occasional load I could pick up and drop in thevsame day, I've never gotten a second load I could pick up and drop in the same day.

While I could do it, Prime doesnt seem to want to do that. Example today, I picked up in Columbus, OH dropped in North Detroit had 6hrs of drive time and didnt get another load until 3hrs later and it doesnt pick up until late tomorrow night....

Either my dispatcher is giving me #### loads or freight has taken a dump this month because last week and now this week I've gotten a bunch of low playing loads. I made $5,8k to my truck, but that was because my loads went from Monday to Wed.... Now this week will not even be $3k..

What ticks me off is a guy I know just pulled a load out of Mi for $2,8k to North FL and here Im getting 2 stop load to ATL that only pays $1,5k and I'm sitting waiting on it from 2pm today until 10pm tomorrow night.. Then the best I'll get out of ATL is a $1k load from recent load pay experance..

So either I'm getting staved because my truck lease is up in Jan or refer freight at Prime just took a crap..

As as far as gross pay with Prime, they include lumper fees as "gross" pay because its paid to you then deducted. Meaning it can add quite a bot to the gross pay specially if running meat loads.

I deduct the lumper $ from the gross when I transfer numbers to the spreadsheet.
