Seems like I dropped or picked up at TM in Farmers Branch … I know I dropped in PHX a couple of times. Obviously nothing about it that left an impression, if I did.

 

We used to drop there when I worked at Poly. 3 years ago.

Woke up this morning to a Pre Plan. Pick up here In Carlisle pa b4 0630 and deliver to fort mill sc b4 1700 today.
When I did a pretrip on the loaded trailer, license plate light was out.
So I drove here to Martinsburg wv terminal to get it fixed. Hoping that the scales were closed which they were
Got here and shops don't open till Monday.
Went and wiggled wires again and saw light was on though not very brute.
Do my 30 break here since I already been here 25 minutes.

Delivered that Ross load to another Ross dc in fort mill sc.
Ross always assigns you a empty if they are over their quota. This guy said 28 was their limit.
Lucky o got o e after he heehawwed a bit.
Did a quick pretrip since it was pouring rain. Noticed some wetness when the guard had me open the back. Thought it was just from opening the back door this first time and this time.
When I got here at the j I went to sweep it out and noticed alot of water in front.
Couldn't see any holes. And my truck is facing downpipe.
Called dispatch and he said to wait till morning when there is light and check it then call on road if there is a hole.
When I did my pretrip, noticed the top left front running light was busted. So not sure if that's the issue.
They sent me a lreplan that was going to Pontiac il a bit southwest of Chicago.
Let that guy know I didn't want it and he gave me the same crap they always say
...loads are slow.
Oh well.

 

I'm at the TA in Terrell, TX, gonna take a 34 since I'm down to 6 hours (til Monday) and I cannot deliver early.

 

I took a chance and went with a DM in PHX. So far so good.

 

Edwardsville terminal finishing up a reset. Got a Kmart load going to Casper, WY. Never been that far up I-25.

 

Did you see any old “repairs” in the roof? Lots of times the water will drip through an old or bad repair job but there won’t be any light shining through.

 

No.. trailer is a '15 and looks to be in pretty good shape. Except for that running light.
With this!cloud cover.. not sure if I will see much light.
Move the truck so the trailer back is downhill. Let water run to the back if any is still in there
