2007 Volvo d16 starting problem

    After driving my 2007 Volvo with d16 engine for couple of hours as soon as i shut it off, when i try to start It turns what does not fire. If i let it sit for 45 minutes or overnight then it will start. please tell me what is wrong. There is no codes.

    I know of a different kind of diesel that had turbo actuator problem that was similar. Does it smoke like a chimney?

    When the problem occur try to prime the fuel system with the hand priming pump over the secondary fuel filter during the same time someone else is cranking the engine, this will help you to pin point the problem.

    Thanks.
    we found the problem. Problem was in the ECM. we changed the Engine ECM, now working ok.
