CDAVIE89 You're better off going back to Prime. SRT is not the place! You might clear take home pay if you're lucky about $650 a week. Stay far away from Tyson regional you will get screwed on detention every time and the miles suck! OTR if you love running up and down the Eastern seaboard and the Northeast. SRT is the place! at low mileage pay!

CDAVIE89 You will be a lot better off finding you a small company to run for. SRT cancelled my lease all because I refuse one Tyson load. I found a small company and I love it. Pays a lot more than SRT ever thought about and you don't have all the BS to go with it!
Voodoo Pyg Thanks this. -
Well who’s the best to go to besides Prime it any huge carrier like them? I have 11 months experience. Some companies don’t hire out of Florida. Some good ones too but I’m looking. It’s just to get back out and get some more experience and make something

CDAVIE89 11 months verifiable current experience you could darn near go to almost any company you choose. Smaller companies pay more. I'm getting 0.55cpm plus $63 a day per diem unlike SRT taking 0.03cpm off base pay, OMG I'm glad SRT is a thing of the past!

As I stated before, everyone's experience is different. I'm looking to be an O/O and the only reason I may be leaving SRT is due to the fact that I want to pick my own loads and not be restricted to just their whims. Now @pigsooie I hate you had such a horrible experience with us. I'm not promoting the company at all. I don't know the hell you had with the lease program and won't begin to judge you on it. I spoke to a driver on the yard who told me personally "avoid it at all costs". I can't see myself allowing the company to decide if my fix needs to be "approved" when it's MY escrow that I pay into when I draw a check. I wish I could've gotten to you before you chose. DOW/XPO had its ups and downs but I make more than a $650 check a week unless the loads are just that bad (rarely). @Cdavie89 you'll just need to find someone who will take you with the 11 months of experience and make it work for you. I've got 3 and some but since it wasn't consecutive, I've had a hard time. Plus these in Texas are finicky and I'm avoiding oilfield right now due to bad experiences last year. Not every company is going to satisfy your needs. Some love Swift and do well while they are the laughingstock of the industry. It really all depends on the driver. And @pigsooie, don't take it as an indictment.
