Anyone watching the Packers game? Dam man I've never seen Aaron Rodgers that angry. The offensive line and the receivers should be ashamed of themselves. And HOW did the kicker choke that FG attempt???

It's funny you mentioned that town. There are a bunch of routes here that end in that town. But, of course, nothing going out. Well nothing over let's say 1.25 or so per mile. Florida has never seen my truck. I don't see that situation changing ever.

So here's a dumb question for you guys that run 80 thru Pa, when the hell did Pilot take over the fuel in Emlenton? I was extremely bummed out to see that. What use to be one of my favorite places to stop (hopefully the diner still kicks ### at least, it always use to) has now turned into a Mega fuel island and parking lot cluster with crap everywhere.

Another one bites the dust.... at least for me.

They had just converted the fuel system and shower points system to Pilots when I was last there in July.

Thanks. I haven't been into Pa since early March I think then caught almost back to back runs to Williamsport. Was looking forward to stopping in.

At least they let the lot lizards take their business seriously now that Pilot is involved....

It cracks me up that you hate Pilot so much. Emlenton didn't get "taken over". Typically when a truck stop switches to fuel from one of the big 3, it means they were struggling financially to the point of shutting down. So don't hate on Pilot, hate the owners for operating poorly. Pilot is a massive boon for me. I get 25 cents off per gallon there. Off the CASH price, thank you very much. Plus I'm getting 10 cents per gallon as reward points on my loyalty card. So that's $13-15 of free money every time I stop. I can use that for parking which is nice, or load up on free food. No status needed to get that either. So all those drivers who are so excited for the measly 4 points per gallon at Loves only AFTER having to earn it the previous month, y'all can keep that garbage. And out of the big 3, Pilot/FJ are typically in better shape, better stocked, and better staffed than anyone else out there.

Well I've been home since Nov 16th, guess it's time to get my ### back out on the road in the morning. Came home to take week off due to Thanksgiving and Opie being on vacation, and on the Saturday after Thanksgiving my 81yr old Grandma passed away. Then we were hit with 13inches of snow and a blizzard on Sunday and there wasnt a chance in hell I was getting to my semi on Monday. So Opie and I decided to I'd might as well just take the whole week off. Trucks sat at my house since Nov 16th with not 1 thing being said from Millis. Student decided hed wait for me to come back out instead of find a new trainer.

6am time to hit ready for dispatch, and try getting 4850miles from my student before Dec. 17th when I'm scheduled to get the next guy lol. Already told him be prepared to run. I plan on having him done by next Fri, and I've got to be home this weekend. Lets hope this weather lets us run. Time to take advantage of this new 6cpm raise lol

Hell man if I had you as a trainer i'd have waited too. At that stage of my career, being brand new, last thing I'd want is to move my stuff out of one truck and move it to another truck. Plus getting used to another person and personality. And a new set of "truck rules". Stability means everything early on.
