I’ll clarify for him. He is having issues with the truck. The truck doesn’t seem to register he is wearing his seatbelt even though he is. I’m no mechanic but I’d guess the buckle that holds the seatbelt clip has some sort of sensor that went wrong in it or the wiring from the sensor to the computer has been interrupted somewhere.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
I will clarify for you. I was making a joke.

There is a sensor where the belt clips in. Easy to jump that. Google it, there are many YouTube videos to show you.

Find the wires that go from the female end of the belt to the connector on the floor.
Cut both wires between the floor connector and the belt.
Strip some insulation off the wires going to the floor connector.
Twist the ends together.
Write it up when you get back.
Don't worry about fancy jumper tricks. The whole female end of the belt gets replaced, and comes with a new connector.
That pinging will drive a driver MAD!!!Believe me, I know!NavigatorWife and Bean Jr. Thank this.
