No good way, slow and easy, hope you have a vibrators on hoppers, or at least a broom stick.
Laying it in a wind row, lots of hard breaking.

The fish meal is new to me. We have never hauled that or feather meal before.

Good luck, I don't haul any sort of meal, or ddgs anymore, what it pays isn't worth the pain to get the #### out.

We hauled a few loads of fish meal. Never again.
It seemed fairly dry when we loaded...double hopper bottom grain trailers...but it settled in the trailers and solidified.
We unloaded at a feed lot over a conveyor and it took forever. The driver had to keep poking the load with a long stick and the clumps that came out wouldn't break up on the conveyor screen. The feedlot owner gave us a couple of guys to help but it still took two hours to get that mess out of the trailers.

And you will need a wash out ticket more than likely before your next load of a different feed product can be put on.

I forgot that part. We did our own washout but the stink of that stuff seemed to hang around forever. The drivers tried to keep the smell out of the cab but it it took months before they smelled right again. I wish we'd taken the trailers to a commercial wash.
There was just enough dust when we unloaded for the drivers to get covered.
One of them said that if he had to haul any more fish meal he'd rather fall down and break his leg...it would be more fun.

I wont haul fish meal cause of the smell.

As far as feather meal etc I never have much trouble getting it out. I keep my slopes waxed and clean open the doors give her a few taps and out it comes. If I have trouble it's out of the grates over the pit not letting it flow. Life has really been good since I bought a suction cup vibrator. (I know some body gonna turn that around on me lmao) Summer is alot harder than winter. The cold seems to keep it from sticking.
