Yeah I'll be out 3 and a half months this trip.
Summertime is so great for cryo....I'm the only person who works so my wife and kid understand.
If I didn't have a family, I'd never go home. I was made for the road life lol.Keithdabarber, x1Heavy and Ace Brothstein Thank this. -
Looking at starting cryo this week, nitrogen runs. Any tips from the pros? I have pneumatic and fuel loading/unloading experience, but thinking this is on another level.
Guessing that the hose fittings get pretty cold and wondering how the pumps work at that temp. I know they have it all figured out, I just like to know what I'm doing on a technical level.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Hey Sr. I've been following your posts for a quite some time. I love the road live too and I've been working for a cryogenic Trucking company for about 5 months, and I love it. So I was searching into LGT. How's their lease purchase program??? I'm ok where I'm but I feel that I can make more money somewhere else, especially doing something that I really like. And I can stay on the road forever. Thanks

I eyeball the Oxygen Tank and Nitrogen Tank Liquid behind the hospital I am staying at. #### thing gets fed by a Cyro tanker via a huge wall of a series of pipes that the product has to flow to get to the tanks themselves. Im no cyro man but it has to do something with very cold negative values versus our Atmosphere and metals etc.
I don't even wanna touch the #### thing. Nitrous at the dentist was bad enough when the tank is cold and full.
The hospital though, they do generate some good stuff when done right. But man, all that piping. -
I guess we McKenzie drivers will find out soon enough.
Bad enough being governed at 69 mph. 65 is a pay cut. And over speed? I always let her roll down hill. -
Have not heard about a slowing of the trucks or change in overspeed policies. What did you hear?
-
Read it in their company handbook.
-
I'm not gonna worry about that. There are a lot of things at McKenzie, including driver pay, that are not aligned with Groendyke policy, but it's my understanding we are being grandfathered in, if you will.

Just found out that if you stay on, drivers will get 6K in four payments over the course of the next year.Leviathan Tube Thanks this.
