Currently 34*F outside with a nice stand-the-flag-almost straight-out North breeze. Ought to be about 40* in the shop this morning. I guess I better get something going, the stuff ain't gonna weld itself.

 

Gonna ride to Memphis and get heavy for Texas. Gonna stop at truckomat and buy something for my ride. Really wish the weather was nice I hate goin to Texas lookin like a no account bum.

Why is it that every time I arrive somewhere it’s lunch, break or shift change? Even if I have an appointment? Who makes an appointment for lunch time?

Yet here I am at 11 am and 1 hour lunch starts at 11 am?

That Coyote 5.0L they've got now is a winner IMO. It blows the 4.8L and 5.3L GM's clean out of the water.

 

Yes it does. Even the 5.4 3v with the 6 speed kills the gm. I have a 1990 Taurus for a beater only 121k on it paid 300 and she runs like a champ. 3.0 Vulcan with the timing advanced a bit. Gets 27mpg on the highway. Ugly as sin but it just won't die lol
