Pretending It's My Equipment has a walk away lease just as weirdo said so if your not opposed to giving all your money away for their 58 mph shiny trucks then I'd say go for it... at least you will make a decent living and in 2 years have nothing to show for it..

No, class c . I haven't aquired mt CDL A yet ..sorry for confusion!!
-
why would someone lease a truck and then walk away without the truck?
-
LOL ask half the people on this forum that have done it...

Because they're broke. Leasing is like renting.
The best deal I've seen is with www.greatwideotr.com but you need 12 mos. experience to go there.Mil2Sec2Trucking Thanks this. -
I would say leasing is more like a person buying a house, paying a mortgage, but they have no money in the bank.....god forbid when that roof starts to leak.....and most people die without ever paying off the houseMil2Sec2Trucking Thanks this.

I'd say no to Roehl. I signed their contract, and then I had to leave because of medical reasons during my training. My doctor wouldn't sign Roehl's return-to-work form because it's not in her legal right or profession. So, I resigned, thinking that it would be ok and that I wouldn't be penalized after talking with the Roehl safety department. I never did get my CDL, but I just got a letter saying that I owe them 7,000 dollars? I'm in the process of trying to figure this out now.

Ignore it and don't answer any mail from them. They probably already sold the debt to a collection agency anyway; so ignore it.Dealt Thanks this.

They said in the letter that it will go to a collection agency if I don't pay it by the 21st of this month, I got the letter last week! I could understand having to pay if I got my CDL, but I didn't. They said they would forbearance the debt if I would come back to work for them, but it's under their rules that I can't return to work. Absolute malarkey, to put it lightly.

Go with another company. Which state do you live in?
