I saw couple pop ups from advertisement companies who would pay "up to $400" a month for letting them place ad on dry Van trailer. I actually like the idea in general. I think empty walls of dry Van are great space that being wasted and could generate some additional profits. It could pay at least for my parking space.
Does anyone have experience with such companies?

Having an ad on the trailer obligates to a good behavior too. For example, what would it look like if a driver pulling a trailer advertising say....Ashland Furniture had an urge to visit "Lion's Den"?

Yeah, I was thinking about it too. What if I show up to competitor of the ad on the trailer. They probably won't let me drive on their property.

Don't sell out to marketing. Find another way.

Far as the competitor....don't take ads that put you in that spot. If possible.
Put food ads, car, etc. Stuff you don't carry. Then you avoid the problem altogether.
An I agree. They should pay you more. Your a moving billboard that thousands of people will see daily depending where you run. Used to be a guy on my sandbar with a smaller box truck. Took out the sides, put in windows, then put crap in it an ran around town all day driving it an "advertising" the products.
Edit: Adding picture. This is the kinda truck the local guy had.
He eventually got shut down if I recall. I believe sandbar(town) ordinances say no to that kind of "advertising". I thought it was a neat idea....if one is in a location to make it work. Like a city or a highly populated/congested area.
Ads like what your talking about are perfectly fine here. The above tho, they didn't like that very much.
Good luck, and don't let them screw you over on the money if you do it. Your a roving billboard tons of people are going to see. Sitting in traffic or at a truck stop. Traveling billboard.
Get that money where you can.

$400 better than a sharp stick in the eye. Doubt you could negotiate much more considering how many trailers are on the road
