Switched rigs and punched in for second shift. On my way to Georgia.

We decided to camp at the J in Beaumont. What a zoo. As I was gettin out of the cleanin water that ol Bob Seagar tune that says something about midnight comes on the radio in there. Before I knew it I had a bag of bears and 2 root beers in my hand. Like I had lost my mind and gonna head to misery tonight. 15 years ago?.......like neck bone is how it woulda been on

 

Sat on job site waiting a few hours to unload concrete round tile. Job forman came up cussing and mother ##### me. Don't know why, he didn't like truck drivers. Very polite I told him that my truck needed unloaded that he was 3 hours late. I informed him I was gonna be late for my reload and if he didn't remove it I will. Again Mother F-ed me and told me he will call my company and tell them never to send me back. I side unloaded that pig and it smashed in the ditch. Walked up and informed him to sign times on bill for detention. I informed him I was the owner, driver and no one will talk to me that way. I will decide if I come back on his job site and will inform the VP that asked me to haul said part. End story I was paid and no body ever said a word. I guess they had problems with him and I hear his crew loved me and still talk about it. The lesson for everyone, you never know who you are talking too, in person or on the phone.

"Tube" yard. National tube in baytown had to cut my load as they stacked it.
