    Started the morning already on plan B. I'm home now but we made it over half way through the alphabet before I got to this point. Once the hammer dropped on the final, final, final plan I hotfooted out of Wichita (at a mind blowing 64.6 mph or 105 kmph) only to see my phone ringing somewhere south of OK City. "Don't go past Ardmore, XXXXX is at KW there broke down with a 16 wide"

    So, I goes to KW in Ardmore, shop says they're going to have him going in 45 min. Boss says stay there until they're 1/2 hour down the road just to make sure. So the shops 45 min was 1 hour and 45 min, or in OD terms, 5 min before curfew. I calls the boss man, ask if I'm spending the night in Ardmore or going home. We tossed coins on both ends and both came up "go home". BUT, be ready to haul arse back if the truck goes down in the morning. Laundry is finishing up, showered and repacking just in case.

    @Ruthless

    Port in Newark (Harbor Freight) to JFK..?

    Should I go GW and come down the 678?

    I’m a condo and the skinny lanes and low bridges are gonna make me white knuckle it the whole way....

    The 278 seems to be an awful route due to bridge clearances?

    The new walking rigs they have out are beasts. Nomac triples, Patterson 1500 series, hp flex rigs. Hp 608 broke a world record for longest land well. 27XXX and almost 19,000 ft was horizontal. 17 days from spudding in to TD. Only job we ever did with 7 silos of cement and 4 660 bulk trucks on site. That crew was busting ### all over South east Ohio

    I don't go down 678 but cross the GW in my nightmares...you'll be fine across there.
