Depends on the trailer. Our main 2 are Hyundai and Vanguard. I love the Hyundai's except for those swivel locks. The Vanguard trailers are ok I guess but they're good for an extra 500 pounds and half of them don't have air slides.Last edited: Dec 7, 2018

Idk if I asked about the dnh %. Anyone know what the number is on dnh with Millis Transfer
Farmer54 Thanks this. -
Others might chime in but I’d say 50% or better. I’m never dragging the same trailer over about 2 loads, maybe 3.
On a DnH this morning for a DnH Monday morning. Nice little 1100 mile run. ;-DBullDozer-( Thanks this. -
I can't remember having the same trailer for more than 3 loads, and that seemed like forever. The trailer I took home for thanksgiving was one of those old AB-series trailers. I had it for a week while I was home and then 3 loads afterwards. Thought I was gonna be able to paint my name over the Budweiser shadow on the sides.BullDozer-( Thanks this.

3 is most I’ve ever had

I had a trailer for 11 days once, and it was a dog tracking POS too, glad to be rid of it. In spite of that I would say the drop and hook percentage for me during my time there was 75% easy.
BazookaJoe and BullDozer-( Thank this. -
I would guess it was around 50-60 percent or so for me. Way higher than what it is for me now, that's for sure.

Thanks for the new term " dog tracking". I had no clue what you meant. What do you do to compensate for the misalignment?Suspect Zero and Steelersjunkie Thank this.

I've always heard the term "dog walking". Its a reference to the weird ### lazy gate that dogs sometimes do when they are skipping down the road, kinda semi-diagonal. Never figured out why dogs do that. But, dogs are retarded animals and I hate them, so I never bothered to learn. Worthless knowledge. Cats rule, F dogs. As far as trailers go, you have to take them to a shop to have them aligned. I'm not exactly sure what all is involved, I am just aware that it can be a lengthy process. Sometimes it's because the axles became misaligned, sometimes it's because the frame is damaged, has shifted, or is warped. sometimes it's a combo of all that. And sometimes, it's because the alignment on your truck is jacked up. There's a real good reason I'm not a service tech. I don't have the patience for all the variables. I just move freight and pay bills. Good enough.
