Really all mechanicals should be driven like that. My dad and all his hopped up Big Cams he would say to drive it like a steam locomotive, Built the fire and slowly roll into it. You didn't ever step on it in the low side. He had gov at 2500 rpm on everyone. Claimed at 2750rpm valves started leaving smiley face marks in pistons.

 

Don't even think bout him. I have looked. Everything he has makes the saying a" polished turd" if ya get my meaning.

 

So I hate to be that guy but if this is Ohio, or whatever name this year truck in Sandusky Ohio? None of the trucks look as good in person as in pic. They buy them cheap and polish the wheels and tanks and paint. They don't clean interior, they don't work on them, and they are way over priced. 45 minutes from my house. Shaddy as can get. They will dress up with shifter, visor, bumper. And all of them have a fresh overhaul on them. But you come this way I would go with you and we could eat.

 

Basicly do that with any hotrod engine. It is more satisfying to make them think they out ran ya until you got a fire built as you buzz by them !!

 

I agree with that. I drive slow and easy. To many young years of the old man riding with me. In the dark I tried floating a gear and thought he wouldn't notice me not pushing the clutch in. Nope got back handed in the chest rather hard.

 

Looked at Paul Priestas inventory and almost all of those trucks were pretty rough looking inside. Lots and lots of high mileage rides.

 

Tonight's bachelor kitchen food porn. Reverse seared center cut sirloin, rosemary-garlic butter basted with a cream-mascarpone pan sauce and bacon wrapped brussel sprouts.

Yep I do plan to go pre eld because most will local but the occasional further. Thought I had to have a farm for a farm tag otherwise it's a k tag?
