    Train Collides with Tractor Trailer
    I'm not a trucker so could someone please explain to me why he had just disconnected the rig from the trailer on the railroad tracks?

    The trailer was probably hung up on the landing gear. It was disconnect, or lose the whole rig if a train came by... which it obviously did.
