You noticed at the end he admitted to having bald tires or...tires with minimal tread.
Well color me shocked dumb dumb
Personally I wish judges would just throw the book at these guys. Not so much as far as ticket costs but just points. Feel like eventually you will weed out the under achievers.

Okay...picture this:
Car goes on a field trip. Traffic cop shows up. Cop asks, "What happened?"
Motorist says, "Was heading to work and completely lost control of vehicle due to hydroplane. Was going a little under the speed limit. Spun the car a few times before hitting the median. Two cars pulled over and said it looked like i hydroplaned."
Cop get's out his ticket book and writes a STUPID ticket.
What's the difference between being Dumb and being Stupid? Stupidity requires intelligence. -
Ok, I'll buy him a drink too if he gives me an autograph...….
-
Had to go read it all.... from what I'm understanding he may have been driving less than the speed limit or so he says, but was still to fast for road conditions knowing he had basically bald ### tires!
-
Intelligence time. Bad tires tires no tread. Bad weather so he's running slightly under the speed limit. And he loses everything, spins all over and goes into the median.
YET, he doesn't know how this happened? Take the part about the tires out, and talk about choosing to travel slightly under the speed limit and not knowing what happened and the cop is going to realize, "This guy is Stupid! Can't fix Stupid, but you can make it hurt!"
If instead, if the cop had asked what happened, and he said, "I don't know," the cop would have muttered under his breath, "dum@$$", but probably not had written a ticket. Remember, the Schultz defense.
Six back quiet. -
They do have insurance but I imagine any of the small claims just get paid. With 500 trucks they get a good bit of small claims.
