Be Cautious When You See Snow Plows

I dont understand how he didnt see that coming, i wouldve been on those breaks long before the video was even recording

 

Some people have to be hit over the head like that financially.

Or maybe he craved a bailout.

Im not sure braking off a curve to that bridge would have done anything. It would be worth a try.

Tibbit is right. How can some people display a what I would call a brain dead non functioning ability to recognize approaching danger. What more do they want? Caution we will break windshields Signs? Do they actually have to be told some of these dangers?

 

Some people don't care what's going on if it not 1 feet away directly front of the hood.

 

Couldve been the heavy lake effect snow...from that high up and the weight..possible..but I wouldve slowed down while the snow dropped. But then again, I use common sense.

 

He probably thought his windshield was bullet proof too. If a tiny pebble can chip a windshield what makes you think packed snow won’t do anything?

 

Some good size chunks of hard packed snow or ice. Windshield isn't made for that.

 

A quick google search indicates it's more brittle. That, along with warm on the inside and cold on the outside as well as expansion/contraction of the frame around it is why a little crack will spread so quick in the winter.

Those chunks of snow/ice the plow threw could have been as solid as rock.
