55’ Bumper-to-bumper overall length limit. I’m over 75 feet bumper-to-bumper. And I run city streets just as much as any highway.

Because he's a tool and showed he is a tool, took the cop about two seconds to realize it.

For 2 1/2 years I delivered to the same customer in Brooklyn every Tuesday morning with a 53' van and a 265 wheelbase 379 Pete. Not one time did I ever get a second look from any law enforcement type except for the local NYPD that would check on me at night because I parked in a sketchy area behind the projects. I was every bit of 13-6 and then some rolling on tall rubber. The were 2 bridges in Philly I had to dump the suspension to sneak under, absolutely nothing anywhere in the NYC area all the way out to Amityville on the island. Can't do tunnels, that's where the posted clearance is accurate.

That dome has about the same strength as a red solo cup. A small insect at highway speed will dent them.

Boston is whack because of all the roads they don’t go straight. It’s a lot tougher to set yourself up to navigate when every road has a bunch of twists and turns in and ####. I heard a story that a (couple?) hundred years ago Boston had burnt down, the city Council wanted to rebuild in a grid system so that it would be more friendly towards traffic and more friendly towards navigation. The Chamber of Commerce fought it and won and they rebuilt exactly the same way as it was before. Allegedly: They did this because at the time most people could not read so if they didn’t know where something was they wouldn’t find it again… At least that was the claim.

On Monday my last stop was a job site on Amory St at the corner of Dimock st.
Pretty ####ing lame going in there and trying to get out. But it can be done just all real tight with lots of cars. Which isnt a problem except all those corners mean you have to go into whatever empty parking is available to make turns, or when it’s two way traffic push into oncoming traffic.
**Dimock st was closed for the construction.
