Happens to all pete springs. They don’t come with those shackles on them. Install new one and tighten u bolts to spec and same thing will happen in a year. If it bothers you, hit it back with a sledge but that only lasts for a little while

I’d like to get them. I’d tell OP to check for rusted out eye alignment nubs on spring they rust out and sometimes a good welder can weld a new bump onto old spring. But he says their new. I’d say torque them after getting them straight.Maybe they reused U Bolts. From what I’ve been told one time use due to high torque meant to stretch.

Dealer won’t have them. He will have to go to spring shop and have one made for his springs.

Those are called spring clamps. They actually have a hole in the middle, on the bottom, and are riveted to to the leaf. Some of the newer stuff has bands on the leaves but they often don't seem to hold much and or move.

Maybe I am the one who is damaged but where are the rectangular blocks of metal designed to sit near the ends of the leafs. I cannot expect the one bolt you all refer to to.. hold the whole thing on.

Those (spring clamps) don't have to be riviet to the leaf. You will have leaf walk without them. U- bolts do need to be tourqed to a certain ft-lb.
